Thank you for shopping with House of Modern Vintage. Every order is carefully inspected and packed in our New Orleans studio to ensure it arrives exactly as described.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to our shipping and return policies.
RETURNS
We accept returns of eligible items within 7 days of delivery.
To request a return, please contact us within this timeframe before sending your item back.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned:
- In their original condition
- In their original packaging
- Free from damage or signs of use
Returns that do not meet these requirements will be refused.
Return Shipping & Refunds
- Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Return shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the customer and start at $18. Charges may vary based on item size and shipping requirements.
- House of Modern Vintage will provide a prepaid return shipping label for all approved returns. The applicable return shipping and handling charge will be deducted from the refund.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Returns must be shipped within five days of receiving the return label.
- Returned merchandise must be received in its original condition and packaging. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment after the return has been received and inspected.
- House of Modern Vintage will cover return shipping costs for items received incorrectly or damaged in transit.
SHIPPING
Orders are carefully packed and shipped from our New Orleans studio.
Tracking information will be emailed once your order has been dispatched.
Delivery Responsibility
Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, House of Modern Vintage is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We recommend shipping to a secure location and monitoring tracking information closely.
Signature Confirmation
Signature confirmation is available upon request at checkout for eligible orders. Certain high-value shipments may require a signature upon delivery.
Damaged Shipments
If your package arrives with visible shipping damage, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of:
- The exterior packaging
- The shipping label
- The damaged item
This allows us to assist with filing a claim with the carrier.
VINTAGE ITEMS
Many of our vintage pieces are one of a kind and may show minor signs of age or wear. Any notable imperfections are photographed and described in each product listing. For additional photos, please email info@houseofmodernvintage.com.
FINAL SALE
Certain items are designated as Final Sale due to their unique, custom, vintage, or oversized nature. This may include select vintage pieces, oversized furniture and décor, and all custom or made-to-order items.
Items marked Final Sale on the product page are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. We encourage you to review all product details, dimensions, photographs, and condition notes carefully before purchasing.
