Creating a Modern Vintage Home
There isn't really a formula for creating a home that feels collected.
I don't decorate by following trends or trying to make everything match. Instead, I look for pieces that have a little history, a little personality, and something that makes me smile every time I walk past them.
To me, modern vintage isn't about making a home look old. It's about mixing timeless pieces with fresh flowers, clean upholstery, natural light, and everyday objects that are actually meant to be enjoyed.
The result feels layered rather than decorated—and that's always the goal.
One of my favorite ways to decorate is by creating small moments throughout a room.
A stack of books becomes a pedestal for a silver tray. Crystal glasses don't have to stay hidden inside a cabinet. A decorative box becomes both beautiful and useful.
When you mix different materials—wood, porcelain, silver, crystal, and books—the space immediately feels more collected.
